Custom & Non-Standard Stainless Steel Washers
Special OD, ID, thickness, material, finish and hole shapes stamped to your drawing or sample — the high-mix, high-value parts catalogue brands skip. Tell us what the part has to do and we engineer to it in 304, 316 or 316L.
Almost every dimension on the part is yours to specify.
If it is a flat or formed stainless washer and the catalogue does not carry it, that is exactly the work we are built for. Combine any of the variables below on a single part number.
Outer & inner diameter
Non-standard OD and ID to fit your bolt, stud or counterbore — oversized fender ODs, tight clearance IDs and everything between.
Thickness & gauge
Thin-series, standard or heavy-gauge thickness to set crush, stack height or load-spreading — held to your drawing, not just the nearest standard.
Special hole shapes
Square, D-shaped, slotted, keyed and multi-hole patterns for anti-rotation, cable routing, busbars and mounting plates.
Material grade
304 / A2 and 316 / 316L / A4 as standard. Duplex, 321, brass and other grades on request when the environment demands it.
Surface finish
Bright / passivated as standard, plus polished, electropolished, black, zinc and Geomet to match the corrosion and cosmetic spec.
Edge, chamfer & form
Deburred or rounded edges, chamfers, countersinks, dished and cupped profiles — formed beyond a plain flat blank.
Marking & identification
Part-number stamping, grade marks and batch identification stamped into the part for traceability on the line.
Packaging & kitting
Bulk, counted bags, blister packs, branded or kitted with mating fasteners — packed to your warehouse or end-user spec.
Export documentation
FOB / CIF / DDP, EU and US-market packing and full HS-code paperwork so the custom run clears customs cleanly.
The catalogue stops where your part starts.
Distributors and OEM buyers reach us when the standard table no longer covers the part — a one-off OD, a square hole, a 316L variant a brand will not stock. We treat those high-mix, low-to-mid volume parts as the core business, not an exception, so you get a real quote instead of "not available."
- → Engineers read your drawing — no generic sales inbox
- → Material certs (MTC / EN 10204 3.1) available on request
- → First-article inspection before the full run is released
A drawing or a sample is all we need to start.
The more of the spec you can give, the tighter the quote. Missing a value? Send what you have — we will confirm the rest before anything is cut.
A drawing or print
PDF, DXF, STEP or a dimensioned sketch. Include OD, ID, thickness, hole shape, tolerances and any callouts. Hand-marked PDFs are welcome.
…or a physical sample
Mail us the part, or send clear photos with a caliper reading. We reverse-engineer the geometry and confirm it back before production.
Material & finish
Tell us the grade (304 / 316 / 316L / other) and finish (passivated, polished, black, zinc…). Unsure? Describe the environment and we will advise.
Quantity & timing
Annual or per-order volume and any target date. Quantity drives tooling decisions and pricing tiers, so an estimate is enough to start.
Send the constraints you do know — the bolt size it fits, the gap it has to fill, the part it replaces — and our engineers will close the gaps and confirm the full specification with you before cutting steel.
From drawing to dock in four steps.
The same disciplined flow we run on standard parts — with a confirmed specification and first-article sign-off before any custom run is released.
Send your RFQ
Drawing, DXF or sample plus material, finish and quantity. Photos and prints welcome — engineers review every request.
Quote & sample
Priced offer with any tooling cost stated up front, plus a pre-production sample or first article for your approval.
Tooling, production & QC
Stamped to the approved spec, with dimensional and visual inspection and certs prepared against the batch.
Export & deliver
Export packing and documentation, FOB / CIF / DDP to your port, with reorders run from the confirmed specification.
Where custom washers earn their keep.
Bespoke geometry usually solves a real engineering problem — anti-rotation, sealing, load spread or fit. These are the sectors we quote most.
Marine & Offshore
316L parts to drawing for deck hardware, enclosures and immersion-rated assemblies.
Solar PV & Renewables
Special ODs and slotted holes for module clamps and mounting rails exposed for decades.
Automotive & Rail
D-hole and keyed washers for anti-rotation on vibration-rated joints and brackets.
Electrical & Busbar
Multi-hole and square-hole washers for grounding, bonding and busbar terminations.
Construction & Façade
Oversized and beveled washers for cladding, curtain wall and structural framing.
Industrial & OEM Assembly
Drawing-specific parts kitted into sub-assemblies and shipped to your line on schedule.
Traceable material. Verified first article.
Non-standard does not mean unverified. Every custom run is backed by the same documentation and inspection discipline we apply to standard parts — so the part you approve is the part you receive, batch after batch.
Material certs on request
Mill test certificates (MTC / EN 10204 3.1) and PMI traceable to the melt, available on request for export and audit compliance.
First-article inspection
A measured first article is approved against your drawing before the full run is released — dimensions, hole geometry and finish all checked.
Repeatable reorders
Your confirmed specification is retained, so every reorder runs to the same approved part — no re-quoting the geometry each time.
Buying questions, answered.
Is there a minimum order quantity for custom washers?
MOQ is set per project, because tooling, material grade and part size all change the economics. Small first runs are possible for qualification, with better pricing as volume rises. Send your drawing and a target quantity and we will quote a realistic minimum for your specific part — there is no fixed catalogue figure.
Will I have to pay for tooling?
It depends on the part. Many sizes run on existing tooling at no extra charge, while a truly bespoke hole shape or profile may require a one-time tool. When tooling is needed we price it transparently and amortize it against your volume, and any such cost is stated clearly in the quote before you commit.
Can you match an existing sample washer?
Yes. Mail us a physical sample, or send clear photos with a caliper measurement, and we will reverse-engineer the OD, ID, thickness, hole shape, material grade and finish. We confirm the reconstructed specification back to you — and provide a first article — before committing the full run.
What is the lead time for custom washers?
Lead time is typically quoted per project. It depends on whether tooling is required, the material grade and the run size: standard custom runs ship faster than tooled bespoke profiles. Your quote will state the expected lead time for your part — ask and we will give you a realistic range up front.
Tell us what you need.
Send specs or a drawing and we will come back with pricing, lead time and material options. No account, no minimum to ask.
