Can you make washers to my drawing or a sample?
Yes — both routes work. Send a PDF, DXF or STEP drawing with OD, ID, thickness and any tolerances called out, or mail us a physical sample and we reverse-engineer the geometry. Either way we confirm the full specification back to you and produce a first article before releasing the run. Our plant runs high-speed coil-fed stamping presses plus CNC machining centres for tooling and non-standard profiles, so drawing-to-production is a standard path for us, not an exception.
What dimensions and features can be customised?
OD, ID, thickness and gauge are the most common variables — held to your drawing, not just the nearest standard size. Beyond those: square, D-shaped, slotted or keyed holes; chamfers, countersinks and cupped profiles; deburred or rounded edges; part-number stamping for batch traceability; and packaging to your warehouse or line spec. Combine any of these on a single part number. Sizes run M2–M64 in metric and the equivalent imperial range.
Which materials and finishes are available for custom parts?
Standard grades are 304 (A2), 316 (A4) and 316L — all sourced from documented melts, stamped to full thickness from genuine full-spec coil (no under-gauge or recycled substitution). Mill test certificates (MTC / EN 10204 3.1) and PMI are available on request. Finish options are bright as-rolled or mechanically polished. We do not offer plating, passivation, black oxide or zinc on these parts — grade selection is the corrosion solution here.
Is there a minimum order quantity for custom washers?
MOQ is flexible and quoted per project — tooling requirements, material grade and part size all affect the economics. Small qualification runs are possible; pricing improves at volume. Send your drawing and a target quantity and we will quote a realistic minimum for your specific part. There is no fixed catalogue figure to hit before we will quote.
Do you run first-article inspection on custom parts?
Yes. A measured first article is checked against your drawing — OD, ID, thickness, hole geometry and finish — before the full run is released. This is part of our ISO 9001:2015-certified process (cert No. 74326Q00174R001), documented and traceable, not an optional add-on. Your confirmed specification is retained so reorders run to the same approved part without re-quoting the geometry.
Can you provide MTC, PMI and export paperwork for custom orders?
Yes. Mill test certificates (MTC / EN 10204 3.1) traceable to the melt and PMI results are available on request — useful for EU and US import compliance and customer audits. We ship FOB or CIF with full HS-code documentation (7318.22 for flat washers, 7318.21 for spring types) and EU- and US-market packing.
